Delete your account

You can delete your Chess Knowledge account and your children's profiles at any time. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need our permission for either.

In the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to More → Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. If you signed up with a password you will be asked for it; if you signed in with Apple or Google, being signed in is confirmation enough. The account and its data are removed straight away.

If you cannot use the app

Removed the app, changed phone, or cannot sign in? Enter the email your account uses and we will send you a link that deletes it. Nothing is deleted until you open that link and confirm.

Prefer to talk to somebody? Email chessuae3@gmail.com or WhatsApp +971 58 558 0602. We may need to confirm you are the parent or guardian on the account before we act, and we answer within 30 days.

What deleting removes

Your account and every child registered under it, including each child's profile, any health note you gave us, their attendance records and their coaches' written feedback. Your profile photo, if you added one, goes with it. We do not hold photographs of children at all.

What we have to keep, and for how long

Two things survive deletion, because UAE law requires it. Neither is used to contact you or to rebuild your account.
